Dalia is a decorative water-based acrylic finish with a silky effect and a velvety and soft touch. The product is characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to washing, allowing the finishing to be maintained over time. It can be reproduced in a wide chromatic range such as to obtain graceful and gaudy colors at the same time, by virtue of the selected shade. The effect created recalls that typical of silk with elegant and precious reflections.
APPLICATION METHOD: By applying the finish with a steel or plastic trowel it is possible to obtain a spatula effect. It is advisable to apply a first uniform coat in order to completely cover the substrate and make the surface totally smooth. The second coat must be applied with crossed spatula strokes. If you want to obtain a cloudy effect, it will be necessary to apply the first finishing coat with a steel trowel in the same way as the trowel effect, applying however the second coat with circular movements and using a plastic pad.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATES: Make sure that the substrates are uniform, perfectly clean, dry and not chalking and apply an acrylic fixative. After that, apply a suitable water-based acrylic primer in order to fully cover the substrate and make it suitable for the application of the decorative finish.
