Venus is a decorative water-based acrylic finish with a metallic effect, with a sandblasted and bright appearance. The product is characterized by ease of application and high mechanical resistance which allows the finish to be maintained over time. It can be reproduced in a wide chromatic range such as to obtain sparkling, iridescent and pearlescent colors, inlaid with lightly grit-blasted details.
APPLICATION METHOD: By applying the finish with a medium size flat brush it is possible to create a discontinuous surface between smooth and sandblasted areas in order to obtain brushed effect. In case you intend to obtain a scratched effect, it will be necessary to apply the finish with a medium size flat brush but through brushstrokes of different orientation (vertical or horizontal or else diagonal) and of different length that will have to be brushed over and regularized to eliminate the excess product and define the scratched effect. If you want to reach a more uniform effect, it is advisable to apply a second coat, in order to make the selected color and effect more homogeneous.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATES: Make sure that the substrates are uniform, perfectly clean, dry and not chalking and apply an acrylic fixative. After that, apply a suitable water-based acrylic primer in order to fully cover the substrate and make it suitable for the application of the decorative finish.
